ASCO Automatic Transfer Switches

Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)

Automatic Transfer Switches are the brain of your emergency power system.  It’s the Transfer Switch’s job is to monitor the flow of electricity into the building and when it detects that the electrical current is having trouble or has been cut off, it quickly sends a signal to the generators to start-up so that when the generator power becomes in-phase it transfers over to your back-up power.  Once the Transfer switch notices that incoming electricity from the utility company has returned to normal, it transfers back from the generator to the utility company.
